The Aulos G1 Joint Grease (also referred to as Aulos Oil/Cream for Wind Instruments) is specifically designed for plastic recorders, including those made by Aulos.✅ Confirmed Uses:It is ideal for lubricating the joints of plastic recorders to ensure smooth assembly and prevent wear.It is especially recommended for Aulos models like the 200 / 300 / 500 / 700 series. While it may technically be used on other wind instruments, it is not intended for oiling wooden recorders or their bores.⚠️ Not for Wooden Instruments:Wooden recorders require special bore oils (like almond or linseed oil) to maintain moisture balance and prevent cracking. The Aulos G1 grease is not suitable for this purpose and should not be used inside wooden instruments.
