Pearl PSC1465B Primal Collective 14" Brushed Natural Brass Snare Drum

Discover a snare drum that delivers a truly commanding and musically rich tone, perfect for drummers seeking both power and nuance. This instrument is crafted from a 1.2mm seamed brass shell, a material celebrated for its ability to produce a warm, bell-like ring with a sharp, articulate attack. The sound is both powerful and sensitive, capable of cutting through the mix in a live setting while also responding to the most delicate ghost notes with pristine clarity.

Engineered for reliability and exceptional performance, it comes equipped with professional-grade hardware. The 2.3mm SuperHoop II hoops ensure consistent tuning and provide a satisfyingly powerful rimshot sound without choking the drum's natural resonance. Tuning is made easy and stays secure thanks to the classic CL-65 lugs, a testament to timeless design and function. The heart of its precision is the SR-150 Click-Lock strainer, which allows for smooth and secure snare wire engagement every time, preventing any unwanted slipping during intense playing.

This snare is not just about sound; it's about feel and response. The SN-1420I Ultra-Sound snare wires offer a crisp and detailed snare response across the entire dynamic range. Whether you're playing powerful backbeats in a rock band, laying down a deep groove in a funk trio, or performing detailed rudiments, this drum adapts to your style, offering a versatile voice that feels right at home in any musical situation. It's an instrument built to inspire, providing a perfect blend of classic warmth and modern precision.
