Ibanez V40CE-OPN Open Pore Natural Електроакустична гітара Dreadnought

Ibanez V40CE-OPN Electro-Acoustic Dreadnought — Stage-Ready Tone at an Accessible Price

The Ibanez V40CE-OPN electro-acoustic dreadnought brings stage-ready tone to the entry-level bracket. Built around a classic cutaway dreadnought silhouette, this model pairs a spruce top with meranti back and sides for the warm, balanced projection dreadnoughts are known for. The integrated Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with onboard tuner makes it a plug-and-play instrument for open mics, small gigs, and bedroom recording. With the cutaway, the highest frets remain within easy reach.

What Sets the V40CE-OPN Apart in the Budget Dreadnought Category

What separates this guitar from other budget dreadnoughts is the combination of an integrated Ibanez undersaddle pickup with the AEQ-2T preamp. This system lets you adjust bass and treble, and the onboard tuner operates even when the cable is unplugged. Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins feature a bulb-shaped end, making string changes easier.

Body Shape and Tonewoods — The Acoustic Voice

Body shape and tonewood choices define how the V40CE-OPN sounds. Layered construction keeps weight down, and the open-pore finish ensures the top vibrates more freely.

• Body Shape: Cutaway Dreadnought — full lower-bass response plus upper-fret access
• Top: Spruce — pristine tonal clarity and strong projection
• Back & Sides: Meranti — warm, balanced midrange
• Players will notice that the open-pore finish helps preserve natural wood resonance, letting the instrument breathe.

Neck Dimensions and Playability — How the Guitar Feels

How the guitar feels during long practice or performance depends on neck dimensions and fretboard material. Nyatoh neck construction provides stability, and the nandu wood fretboard creates a smooth surface for your fingers.

• Neck Material: Nyatoh — stable, comfortable profile that resists warping
• Fretboard: Nandu Wood — rich, warm tonal character with a smooth playing surface
• Scale Length: 650 mm — standard dreadnought scale for familiar string tension
• Nut Width: 42 mm — narrow enough for barre chords, wide enough for fingerstyle

Electronics and Hardware — Plug-and-Play Performance

Onboard electronics make this acoustic a true performance-ready electro-acoustic. An undersaddle pickup accurately captures string vibration, and the AEQ-2T preamp allows precise tone shaping.

• Pickup: Ibanez Undersaddle — accurate reproduction of the acoustic voice when amplified
• Preamp: Ibanez AEQ-2T with onboard tuner — bass, treble, and volume shaping plus silent tuning
• Changing strings is simple due to Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins with their distinctive bulb-shaped end.
• Tuning Machines: Chrome Covered — smooth, reliable tuning stability
