Jackson JS32Q DKA AH Transparent Purple Burst — Metal-Ready Superstrat with Floyd Rose Tremolo

This instrument is part of the JS Series, built for players who want classic Jackson shred feel without flagship pricing. A poplar body with a quilted maple art-grain top sits under a transparent purple burst finish, paired with dual Jackson high-output humbuckers and a licensed Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo. The Dinky body shape keeps the upper horn accessible for high-fret playing, while the tremolo opens the door to dive bombs and pull-ups that return to pitch.

What Sets This Dinky Apart

Two design choices separate this model from entry-level Superstrats. The bolt-on maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods flanking the truss rod, helping the instrument hold its setup through humidity changes and aggressive tremolo use. The 12"-16" compound radius amaranth fingerboard gradually flattens from a rounder profile at the nut to a flatter surface near the heel, so open-position chording feels comfortable while high-register bends stay clean.

Poplar Body with Quilted Maple Top — Lightweight and Visually Striking

Poplar delivers balanced weight and a neutral tonal foundation that lets the pickups define the voice. The arched quilted maple art-grain top adds a water-like figured pattern under the transparent purple burst finish, giving the guitar a stage-ready look that punches above its price tier.

• Body Material: Poplar — light, resonant, and balanced on a strap.
• Top Material: Quilted Maple Art Grain
• Body Finish: Gloss (Polished) — sealed surface that reflects stage lighting

Bolt-On Maple Neck with Compound Radius Fingerboard — Built for Speed

A scarf joint adds strength at the headstock connection, while graphite reinforcement rods keep the neck straight under string tension and climate swings. The amaranth fingerboard carries 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, with a compound radius that flattens toward the heel for clean shred articulation.

• Neck Material: Maple — bright, articulate response with a stable bolt-on attachment
• Neck Construction: Bolt-On with Graphite Reinforcement and Scarf Joint
• Fingerboard Radius: 305-406 mm (12"-16") Compound — comfortable chording at the nut, flat surface for bending up high
• Nut Width: 42.86 mm (1.6875") — Floyd Rose licensed locking nut for tuning stability

HH Pickups and Floyd Rose Tremolo — Heavy Tones, Stable Tuning

Two Jackson high-output humbucking pickups sit in the bridge and neck positions, wired through a three-way blade switch with single volume and tone controls. The licensed Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo pairs with the locking nut to keep the guitar in tune through aggressive whammy-bar techniques, while sealed die-cast tuners and all-black hardware complete the package.

• Pickup Configuration: HH (Dual Humbucking) — thick, high-output tone for hard rock and metal.
• Bridge: Floyd Rose Licensed Jackson Double-Locking Tremolo
• Scale Length: 648 mm (25.5") — standard tension and attack for drop tunings
• Strings: Nickel Plated Steel .009-.042 — light gauge set ready for bends and leads

Who Should Play This Guitar

This model is the right choice for intermediate and advanced players who want a metal-focused Superstrat with a real Floyd Rose tremolo at a reachable price. Guitarists moving from a hardtail into tremolo territory will appreciate the licensed Floyd Rose's tuning stability, while existing Jackson players get a fresh visual upgrade with the quilted maple top and transparent purple burst finish. It suits bedroom players practicing sweep arpeggios, gigging metal guitarists needing a reliable backup, and students who want a stage-ready instrument.

Jackson JS Series — Affordable Access to the Dinky Legacy

The company built its reputation in the 1980s on pointy headstocks, high-output pickups, and guitars designed for the rising thrash and shred scene. This series carries that DNA into a more accessible price tier, using poplar bodies, bolt-on maple necks, and licensed Floyd Rose hardware to deliver the core playing experience at a lower cost.
