With a whistle-like tone controlled entirely by the mouth and tongue, the Suzuki Magic Whistle MW-01W is a unique pocket instrument that lets players perform melodies without using their hands. Available in white, it is placed in the mouth and tongue movement controls pitch across a range of up to two octaves.

Playing Technique

Insert the Magic Whistle into the mouth up to the lip stopper and seal the mouthpiece with the tongue to create a closed cavity, then blow. Moving the tongue forward and backward changes the pitch. The achievable range is approximately one to two octaves, with some variation between players. It works equally well as a melody instrument or as a sound effect alongside guitar and other instruments.

Washable ABS Construction

Made from ABS resin, the MW-01W measures 62×43×23 mm and weighs just 9 g. After playing, it can be washed with water and wiped dry with a soft cloth. An integrated strap ring allows a lanyard or neck cord to be attached for easy carrying.
