A re-vamp of a 1970’s Hagstrom classic! The new Hagstrom Swede-F features a chambered body and distinguished F-hole design to deliver an entirely different tone from its solid bodied brother, the “Swede”. Many players associate chambering with simple weight relief, but the Swede-F brings out an entirely new tone with an incredible difference in both attack and sustain, which can only be described as “organic”. With thanks to the extreme tonal transparency of the Hagstrom Custom 58 pickups, players will immediately sense the guitars response in their own playing techniques due to the instruments woody attack and mellow sustain which fuse together a perfect combination of its acoustic and electric properties. With the aid of the new Hagstrom passive “RC” Circuit, which are installed into the linear volume knobs, players will be able to perfectly dial in the tone that they desire: from full gain, to a slight crunch, and even down to pristine clean without sacrificing any frequencies and all without touching a single dial on the amplifier.
