MECHS & ROBOTS — Professional Mech and Robot Sound Effects Library

Every mech project begins with a need for various units: a small one for intricate details, a large one for scale, and something in between to connect them. Traditional libraries often require you to piece together elements that were never designed to work in harmony.

MECHS & ROBOTS addresses this challenge at the library level. Featuring eight fully designed characters across four size classes in the Designed edition, this library is built from the same source material as the Construction Kit, ensuring a cohesive sound experience at every scale. You can seamlessly integrate a Microbot and a Titan into the same session, as they were crafted to complement each other.

Eight Robot Characters. One Coherent Sound World.

MECHS & ROBOTS encompasses eight meticulously designed mech characters that span four size classes: Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large. Each character features 12 sound categories with up to 57 individual variations, all sharing a consistent design language, allowing for a unified production experience.

Twelve Categories. One Complete Character.

Each Designed character covers a comprehensive range of 12 sound categories, encapsulating the full mechanical lifecycle from Power Up to Idle, Damage Impact, Transform, and Dismantle. Choose a character from your desired size class, and you’ll have the essential sound design ready from the start.

A Construction Kit Built for Layering

This library includes four source categories: Metal, Mechanical, Servo, and Synthetic. Utilizing real recordings from industrial and mechanical sources, the sounds are engineered to perform excellently without processing and withstand heavy treatment, with six to twelve variations per element.

Designed for Professional Workflows

All files adhere to a standardized UCS-compliant filename structure, complete with embedded metadata for quick searching in Soundminer, Basehead, and Soundly. The library is offered in 96kHz / 24-bit WAV format, ensuring compatibility with all major DAWs on both Windows and Mac.

Eight Characters, Four Size Classes

The characters are categorized as follows: Small (Microbot, Nanotron), Medium (Android, Automaton, Summoner), Large (Gunbuster, Colossus, Titan), and Extra Large. Each character includes 12 sound categories: Footstep, Movement, Bodyfall, Damage Impact, Transform, Dismantle, Calculate, Expression, Rotation, Power Up, Power Down, and Idle sequence.

Built to Work Together in Session

Each character provides Footstep (10 variations) and Movement (10 variations) files tailored to their respective size class. Idle sequences are designed as 30-second loops that can layer across size classes. The consistent sonic design language across all characters allows for seamless integration within the same production.
