Great machine, 2 synths and a drum machine, built in sounds are great, and if you want to go deeper into the synth engine there is an editor that gives you much more access to all the parameters including the modulation matrix and the macros. I would say that the only downside is that you only have midi in and out no thru. All in all its really fun to play and instantly without too much effort you are creating professional sounding loops which you can build upon with the pattern chaining and sessions you can make a whole composition consisting of 120+ loops. Its had plenty of support from novation since its initial release and now has micro steps and panning for drums. Also sample flip and the option to add your own samples using the free software. I would recommend this to any one with a musical interest at any level.
